I have used this more than once in year's past - in fact twice on the same account at the same time (set up a separate log in for my wife (they issue a different card number for each authorized user) and both her card and mine showed the offer and we were able to each get the $45 credit).

Process is to simply active the offer; use the card to add $90 to your Mint wallet; $45 credit will appear on your next Amex statement. You can then use the $90 Mint wallet credit the next time you need to pay for a plan. I've done this multiple times before in the summer, but didn't use it until January (when my annual plan was up for renewal) without a problem.
You can; or if I remember correctly if you check the URL after you select the $20 it ends in "20" and you just remove that and replace it with "90" and the next page will be for a $90 load
Doesn't expire for almost 2 months so things might change by then. I know other member like Mint Mobile that's the only reason I posted this.

I don't see this offer with my Amex EveryDay® Card. What a worthless crap card, I only have it because it's my oldest credit card, back when it was Amex Blue something or other. It can't even be product changed into some other useful card.
I have this card too, and while I agree with you that using it as a credit card is basically worthless, the fact that it is a no annual fee card from Amex makes it worth keeping and not cancelling for me for a couple of reasons:
1) If you have a second or 3rd Amex account, you can "park" all your worthless junky Amex offers on this card and only put the good ones on the Amex cards you'd actually like to use. This makes it soooo much nicer to sort through
2) I get a surprising amount of "get 6 additional membership rewards points" offer exclusively on this card (not even my Amex Gold or the plat when I had it) mostly around Q4. This is a stellar deal as MR points are worth more than cashback if you can redeem them right
3) Even if you don't get great Amex offers on your card, keep checking the Amazon/Amex promotions here on Slickdeals where you can get a % off by redeeming at least 1 MR point at checkout. Right now I only have the ED card from Amex as I cancelled my Platinum and I still get that offer a decent amount
3.5) You can also try removing your Amex ED card from your Amazon account and waiting for a promotion like the one that is currently going on- $15 off min $15.01 sold and shipped by Amazon
4) My use case particularly: it's currency is Membership Rewards points, which allows you to park your points indefinitely if you have to cancel one of the annual fee cards like Gold or Plat, then when you open one of those accounts again the points are still there ready to be used

I would think mint mobile is not historically the avenue Amex Platinum holders would go when they want cell phone service.

Why? Like if you have a platinum card - you somehow must to spend more?

Yes, likely they would've pay more for better coverage like the big 3 carriers
i mean amex platinum holders gets walmart+ monthly subscription... so that seems like an even bigger mismatch.

i own 4 different amex cards and i use mintmobile because its an awesome deal and it works fine for me. on the other hand i never shop at walmart because i dont want to deal with the people of walmart

Idk, I have platinum, and shop at Walmart all the time, and use mint. I'm a cheap ass. Thats why I'm here I guess. Lol

I had done this in the past several times. Changed the URL from whatever it was, 20 to 90 and added it to my wallet.

Last year, I was waiting for this offer, but didn't receive it. I'm not seeing it again this year. Frown It has always been the best offer I would redeem. Why does AMEX hate me?

I have this on BCE. But it's 20 off a single transaction of 45 or more.
45 is a lot of money for my usage.
I have Visible unlimited 25 per month that works much better for me.
Huhhhh???
This is 3 months unlimited for $45 nod

you're not alone....I have the junkiest of offers. But I did use this mint deal last year, it was $25 off $45. So even with the Mint junk fees it still ended up as a good deal at $28 for 3 months (while waiting on another buy 3 get 3 deal from Best Buy Big Grin).

Not true. I have Mint Mobile going on 2-3 years and I use it with my Z Fold. I also have an Amex Platinum, a $400k+ salary and a 7 fig NW. I still recommend Mint Mobile to many others and I have the option to buy literally any phone or phone plan out there without it impacting my spending.

I just spoke with Mint support and this was their response: "You can only purchase on the 3 options here which is the $5, $10 or $20 to your Mint Mobile wallet. You can actually add it up and the daily limit for storing your Mint wallet is only for $60.". Possibly they changed it recently if in the past you could load the wallet with $90 in a single transaction.
you need to change the URL from "20" to "90"

I wish they have the deal for 1 year free with the particular phone purchase again. Last year I got that deal for 1 year of service free after selling that Pixel 7 Pro on eBay to recoup my cost basic.
