Reviews might be mixed, but at this price for the definitive edition including all DLCs, I'm going to grab it. I've always been curious about this game.
I just bought the code, redeemed on Steam, and the game is now in my Steam Library. I haven't installed it yet, but it says the size will be 34.5 GB.
Also, buying the code gave me both the PC and Mac versions, in case anybody was wondering about that.

Thanks for the info! Might be fun for fans of the Civilization type games though, especially with the DLC included in this edition.
Too bad, I was looking for a replacement for Civilization since that series is going in the wrong direction.
Lately, I'm playing Civilization 2, which I've modded to have modern and near-future units and done a few personal balancing preferences. Civ 2 is about 5x as fast to play as Civ 6. I can do a normal map in 10 hours instead of 50, yay! And I don't have to wait for a while when I hit "end turn". I just don't know if any of the additions to the game since Civilization 1 in 1991 were really improvements. Does Civ 6 feel more real? Is it more fun? The low graphics make it easy to imagine that I'm a general strategizing on a map. The new graphics still are nothing like conquering the world.

Entire package if you don't own what i had prior to this upgrade would cost $24.11 with current steam sale price.
