almost all new 5G phones supports all carriers. If you are in budget, you can buy Samsung A series or Oneplus Nord series.

So many infimobile deals lately I can't keep track anymore. How does this one compare against the previous offers? The best was the $8/month deal or something right?
Not necessarily but it could be perseved as such. $8 does not mean when you have network issues, customer service or requesting pin or when porting out or how long they survive. So, its better to consider these items as well..for example, I had mint and always had issues. Then went to verizon (infi mobile) and see 0 issues. So, in this case, it's better with Verizon network. To me, I don't doubt infi mobile for now. They have been on linked in for 2 years and steadily making progress like us mobile and mint.

I am currently trying us mobile on my backup phone, a Moto 5g stylus from a Tracfone slick deal. The phone unlocked at 60 days and the us mobile sim works fine. Didn't even have to put in the APN. Just reboot and everything including 5G works. Just another option since these Moto 5G phones come along on slickdeals for very very cheap.

Red alert: 🚨 bought this last night, eSIM activation was supposed to be immediate last night at midnight. Yet, it still is not activated and now they are saying it will be 48 hours. No one answers phone, chat is super bad English (guessing it's low budget India based call center here). Thinking I'm going to need to file dispute with AMEX. Super sketch - will update

Port your main number to Google Voice. Then you can take advantage of every phone deal without losing your main number.
Do NOT do this. Google released my number and wouldn't get it back. They have the absolute worst customer service. I worked at Century Link for a while and Google has no business selling phone service. They're incompetent.

Google will not release an active number. They also give you 45 days to reclaim a released number. Sounds like there's much more to this story.

I've had the same GV number for close to 10 years and have never had any issues. A lot of members in the phone threads also use GV to take advantage of MVNO deals.
