Port your main number to Google Voice. Then you can take advantage of every phone deal without losing your main number.

As a counter to this, if you do any amount of texting, don't do this. The google voice app is pretty ass and you can't use RCS with it. Also some apps will not let you use 2FA with it (chatgpt and lots of dating apps). It's def not worth the inconvenience of not having two numbers on your phone (asking google assistant to send a text and it sends from the wrong number) and dealing with google voice

Yes, I've used Mint with GV for years. You can call Mint and they will set the number of rings for you on their end while you are on the phone with them (I just requested 'max number allowed' - don't know what that is) or tell you how to do it by texting a code from your phone yourself. GV has always worked well for me with Mint.
Not all mnvos allow for configuration of the number of rings. This is infinimobile not mint.

Anyone have a renewal strategy? Do we just move on to us mobile or something?

I switched to Infomobile about a month ago for my wife's line and mine.
We constantly have issues where the other party's voice cuts out and we hear nothing.
It cuts out for between ~2-8 seconds and might happen as frequently as every minute or so.
We both just experienced it today on our phones while talking to two different parties.
I actually don't talk on my phone much, she has been complaining about it since we switched about a month ago.
Has anyone else experienced this?

You don't need to worry about that right now. In a year, many things can change, including their monthly prices. They are actually not that bad already - Lite plan is $10/month and it has 1GB of high-speed internet, which is comparable with US Mobile.

I joined about a year ago. The Internet is almost dead a lot of the time even when the signal is almost full bars. Calls sometimes have bad connections. I suspect that the data is being in lowest priority. I would not get this again because it's not convenience with Internet being down/slow a lot of the time.

After using for 1 month here are my observations:
Call/text - works fine no issues with calls and texts. Always got good signal and no call drops in New Jersey.
Data - RED FLAG - infimobile email says all 10GB used so not getting any more data unless recharge. Not getting even 2G slow data even when the plan says unlimited slow data. My iPhone 14ProMax shows cellular data used is just over 2.5 GB and same 2.6 ish GB total after calculating the data usage from infimobile website (allows viewing only 2 day usage to make life difficult). No answer where is the remaining 7GB vanished.

I too had ordered physical sim by mistake. They took additional $5 for eSim. I think that is a reasonable amount since they are offering a great prepaid 12 month deal.

Network? Verizon or T-Mobile? Any information on priority of data? QCI level?
