The grill/griddle tools also seem to be more hassle than they're worth whenever I've tried those. Hopefully this is easier to clean!
Code only seemed to work on the green model, not the black (didn't try other colors)

The 250/600 shouldn't be too bad of an issue. It would probably be for throwing vegetables, stir fry or an egg on for a few minutes more than anything else.
Without a kitchen or stove, it's been using the instantpot (pressure cooker, boiling water for pasta and saute'ing things.. A microwave, water kettle (ramen cups) and an Air fryer/broiler. Something like this might help eliminate the mess and clumsyness of cooking in an instantpot as a stovetop for the little things

We have one as a xmas gift. It's been a few years now, and the non-stick still sticks. (Just don't use METAL utensils. I use wood chopsticks, and plastic spoons).
For us, it's only used to reheat soups, for single servings. It works GREAT! When we reheat with soups that have noodles, we'll throw the soup in first (because, as you have stated.... it's very slow to bring to a boil), then toss the noodles in after.
Works like a charm! We even eat out of the pot when we cook with it... So one pot mess!
The only thing I can say is a negative for it, for me, is the metal part is non-removable (I know this is a lot to ask, but since it isn't removable, you gotta wash the entire unit, and I DEFINITELY have gotten food gunk in plastic housing - it's got ventilation on the bottom).

Only 3 settings: off/250w/600w, so it's not really a range but a setting. Heats within seconds, works well and cleaned up easily.
Cute little lid and spatula included. Only complaint is the cord, it's like 3 feet long.
Overall very satisfied with it though
