From the back of the package: "This lens is impact-resistant, but not unbreakable", and later "It does not protect against severe impact hazards such as grinding wheels or abrasive disks, or explosive devices." I would personally not use it for protection against the hazards you defined.

For the price, these work but not very well. Debris can still get in between the glasses and your face.

Really need fit-over safety glasses! But, if these don't work great, does anyone have recommendations for some that do?

Great value at $1.20, but they don't seal at all (debris can reach your eyes) and they tend to fog/steam as well.

DeWalt makes a vastly better pair for $12 and they fit well over most glasses, though the curve bothers some:

Anyone have experience with these in an impact? The surface of the front looks flat instead of the normal curve, and I feel like that would affect the ability to stop a rotary blade or nail like the standard ones do

Buy 2 and try the impact test on one . That way, you're still ahead @2.40 for 1. And you're making a killing if the 1st one passes. Please report back.. Thanks

I prefer these. I don't even wear glasses but the underside has a lip that stop most debris. Too many times I've used regular glasses and be blinded by debris coming from the underside while at the table saw or using a circular saw or something. https://a.co/d/05L4Ohw4

Perfect for July 4 fireworks. It's better than no protection.

1.20 with free delivery? Might as well have a new pair even though mine are in ok shape still.

I think I'd be wearing a mech suite if I'm dealing with fireworks.
