If you already have Ridgid batteries and can find this, buy it. Super small, light, portable, accurate and convenient, but still capable of cutting practically anything in a typical American home that needs mitering. Rarely do I ever drag out my bigger miter saws.

Folks on amazon have reported that dewalt-to-ridgid 18v adapters work with a ridgid 7 1/4 miter saw. It might be this one. I havent ever usds such an adapter but id be willing to give it a try. This saw seems like a steal at this price.
