I had a old cheap Chinese smart watch I got to 15 dollars laying around I traded in. Get a cheap $10-15 one on Temu or Amazon

If you are going to use a watch on cellular, check wireless carriers. For an example T-Mobile has $380 off a Samsung watch ($15 a month data plan with autopay on a plus plan). I'm sure other carriers have similar offers. You can use any watch via Bluetooth with the phone nearby. But the cellular option lets you make calls without having the phone with you.

Personal preference, I prefer smaller 40mm. I baught the 4 Classic last month and returned it, too clunky. The 6 40mm much better for me, I forget it's on.

Trying to figure out if I can use something like this for my kid. Had a TickTalk kids smart watch that recently broke. As an LTE can it have it's own phone #?
Not ready for a cell phone, just need something where he can all us if needed, and vise versa.
