Bought this couch last month. Love it! Module pieces hook together using a hooking system that's retractable so it doesn't move when attached.

Are you able to swap the orientation?

Yes, every piece has a hook (can swing out when using and swing under when not using it) and a latch, so you slide the pieces together and they lock in. Think of a zip tie mechanic, that keeps it locked. To remove it, you take the piece that has the latch and lift it about 2 inches and it disconnects. Takes me 30 seconds to change the orientation from an L shape to U when I have guests eating and drinking around my coffee table.

From the cushions you can. The main body is sewn in place. I will say the material is rather stain resistant.

I have the chair & ottoman as separate pieces in my game room. We loved them so much we bought a second set. The storage ottomans hold about a dozen unopened Lego boxes of average size of that helps anyone with very unspecific decision making. Very comfy & very sturdy.

So both the back cushions and seat cushions can be removed. I bought a similar set from Costco about 3 years ago and the seat cushions are attached to the couch. It was didn't take long for a terrible cushion crevasse to form at the sectional attachment point. I hate it.

It seems to be $1699 online, but it is $1399 in stores.

How's the quality on these sectionals by them? My sectional from Ashley's Furniture started making those wood squeaks probably one year after buying them.

Would like to know the same. I don't want anything that doesn't have detached seat and back cushions. Also, the covers of those should be removable.

Is this that?

I own these. Only the back cushions are removable. The seat are not removable, they are sewn on.

I used to have the olver version of this and loved it, using the nest configuration. It was even better when it was $800 on sale

I had a sofa-bed from Ashley's, it started falling apart right after warranty was up. Threw it out, and crossed that store off my list.

I've bought other furniture from Costco (not a sofa yet), and it feels like it's built to last. And Costco customer service has always been great with me, if it comes to it.
