A very easy workaround in Firefox is:
Right click on the link and do 'Copy link without site tracking'.
Then paste what you just copied into a new tab and it will work any time and all the time regardless whether you have adblock or not.

Right click on the link and do 'Copy link without site tracking'.
Then paste what you just copied into a new tab and it will work any time and all the time regardless whether you have adblock or not.

My VPN nixes every single "see deal" link because of this
Now, its a server-side response and this response contains the refferer's site + a real site..
I think greasemonkey extension might help but it has to be coded to filter out referral links...
Much better solution now is:
1) identify retailer's URL (or name) from the context.
2) manually dial to seller's URL
3) enter discount codes etc...
it's a bit inconvenient but eliminates the risk of having your private session info sent to CCP or anything like that.
