I think people don't understand that the latest version of the Kirkland golf ball is considered one of the worst golf balls ever produced. I think it ranks just as bad as Nitro balls or Refurbished balls so take that into account when pricing and buying these balls
Unfortunately, this current version of ball isn't the value it was
Idk about all the hate on these. I got 2 dozen a month ago and they're fine. I score the same as always for the last decade. They're not prov1s but I'm no pro. $1 a ball is gonna be hard to beat.

Warehouse is closed today and it's usually $27-28 in store. Would be good if this included yellow balls though

These balls are always this price in store so this is good for online only today as the yellow are always out of stock or not available.

In 4 Yellows, only have white at my warehouse... always play yellow. Thanks op, repped! Drove a green with this ball, 268 yd par 4, playing the forward tees. 1st time ever drove the green, sucks, missed the eagle putt.

Agree with the others. The current version (v3) amplifies spin so if you have any hook or slice in your game, the ball makes it worse.

Try Cut golf since they have budget balls based on your swing speed. Taylormade has Noodles which are great for beginner to intermediate Golfers. Wilson has good intermediate balls. I also wait for sales. Just make sure you aren't buying high end Titleist balls if you are intermediate because those balls do the opposite of helping you if you don't have the swing speed to match

Give Vice Drive a try. I switched to Vice and have seen some of my best plays. I used to play Kirkland, TaylorMade TP5s, and ProV1s. I was losing too many to make it worth it, but with vice's prices - I don't mind.

Agree 100% that the current balls are some of the worst I've ever played in my life. They are rock hard and spin like crazy off the tee, zero feel around the greens.

It's literally as if this ball was designed to actively try and make you worse.

Range balls would literally be better because they're softer and worn down dimples don't spin as much.

It's not as cheap, but IMHO some of the most overlooked, best value high performing balls are the Maxfli Tour X from Dicks (house brand). Often go on sale for $110 for 4 dozen (around $27 per dozen).

These easily compete with Pro V1x's for almost half the price.

Yeah I'll look out for those. I'm on the intermediate side and have been using Kirkland refurbished that's why I'm asking. I should be trying out others to see if they improve my game.

People need to be realistic

Someone buying these balls most likely lose a ton of balls while playing.

Someone good enough to care about balls wouldn't be playing these anyways and have their preferred brand like Pro V1 or Chromesoft or TP5 etc.
