I would wait for this to go on a deeper clearance. They clearance this every year for the past few years. I think I got mine for under $150

My only complaint is that I broke the grill grate. I replaced it with an after market Weber style but it didn't fit right. The original grill grate is not standard size. It's pretty custom and hard to find something that fit 100%. I ended up get a few right angle hinges from home deport. Works fine now.
It was $89 last summer. I also broke grill grate and called the number from manual and they sent me for free but with shipping charge a new one. Worth a shot!

Which month do they start clearance them?

but their hotdog combo is only $1.39. cheaper by a dime
Go to both. Sam's provides a bigger cup for your drink but the hotdog at Costco is larger. Also, because Sam's doesn't seem to use kiosks for ordering food, they make up for staff taking orders by prewrapping stuff. That's great, but your bun ends up sort of smashed and soggy.

Don't know what Sam's used to be like, but I'll take Costco over it for .10 any day.

I would order a box of cereal among other things for free shipping and it would get delivered next day free from the store. I figured that was not going to last.

$50 min for free delivery not bad although you have to tip. I guess it becomes a contest of what is the better value - free pickup or tipping a driver with $50 min.

The one good thing about $50 min for free shipping is (hopefully) you won't be forced to order 2 of some items any more.
How are you tipping the driver? Is that an option at checkout I've never noticed? My experience with delivery is the same as any other retailer, left on my steps, no human interaction. I'd be more inclined to tip the picker on a pickup, and actually able to for that matter.

not only its cheaper but their hotdog is thicker and juicier. and their island is full of condiments, including radish and freshly chopped onions.

stop hiding on your bed. they know where you are when you don't show up by the door to greet them. hiding from them doesn't mean you don't have to tip.

sams: bigger cup. no nugget ice - shorter dog. thicker and juicier - no kiosks. only 1 person taking (and fulfilling) orders cuz of the low diners - extra condiments. freshly chopped onions. no sauerkraut hiding.

I got it last year for 105, it's still sitting in the box unopened in my garage.
This is how I imagine most SD users. Just buying stuff because it's on sale and never using it

Do you greet the UPS/FedEx/USPS driver's too? Perhaps you're in an urban area, I'm in the burbs and no one knocks or rings a bell. If you're chasing them down your road as the drive away then all the power to you

Sam's Club ice cream is better, IMO, and only $1. Plus I can just order from the app in the parking lot and pick it up when I get inside, skipping any line.

For me, they're both better for specific things. Most everyday things are overpriced at Costco, IMO. We've bought appliances and eyeglasses at Costco, though, and it makes up for the fact that Costco is $60 for membership while SC is $15 (I got it for free for 6 years, but the past 2 years I can't get it cheaper than $15). The only things we buy regularly at Costco are chia seeds (they're stupid cheap, I don't know why), coffee, toilet paper, and propane. Literally everything else we frequently need is cheaper at Sam's without the shitshow that is the crowd.

sams club is so much closer than Costco for me but gd Sam's club deals suck compared to what Costco members get. I went to Sam's yesterday and not a damn thing for food items was on sale this month. normally there's a bit here and there with yellow labels designating special price but there was nothing this time
I have both memberships. Sam's is closer.

This is mostly true for food deals.

I like Sam's rotisserie chicken better. My Sam's also has fresh sushi. The pork chops and whole beef briskets are cheaper at Sam's. Likewise, Sam's Butter Chicken is great. Sam's has a better selection of cleaning and cookware items that Costco Business has, but that's travel to a more distant store for me. And at 5% cashback on gas, it is a better value. Sam's Scan and Go beats Costco's self checkout by miles. I can get in and out of Sam's in 10 min. There's always a wait at Costco. sometimes longer than others.

Costco has more organics and gluten free foods and snacks. The food court food is better. Hot dogs and pizza, but no membership is needed. They have a wider selection of home goods and liquor and sporting goods if you buy those.

The grill grate design is a pain in the butt. It's heavy and the inter locking mechanism makes it difficult to move.

How did you break yours?
