Double click issue is very easy to fix. A 10pack of kahlih switches is $8. Hadn't soldered in years and replaced the switches in about 10 minutes. Once you take the old switch apart it's easy to see why they get dirty, and the travel distance for the switch is very small compared to a replacement switch.

Technically, if you had small enough tools you could take the switch apart and clean it, but it's much simpler to just unsolder and resolder the 2x 3 points to replace both switches.

I like m510 to habe at work and have replaced those switches as well, they will get the double click as well.

These are considered heavy mice now. But at this price point you can't get much better for a wireless. I switch between this and a zowie za13.

I have one and bought another. There are replacement clickers to buy and diy to extend the life of it.
Replacing switches is extremely difficult unless you get hot-swappable switches. ASUS owns the patent on those and refuses to license them out so you can only get hot-swappable switches on an ASUS mouse. You're otherwise in for a long day of picking apart extremely tiny pieces, soldering, and hoping you don't mess things up. You're much better off either getting optical switches (which cannot ever run into the double-click issue) or simply avoiding Logitech mice.

For reference, Logitech got into trouble because they used switches that require a different voltage than what the mouse is designed to operate under. That results in the switches misfiring.

That is interesting. I guess I am lucky as I switched the switches twice and things are working perfectly still.

Not the easiest but not that bad either. But if anyone ever attempts please consider purchasing a "solider sucking tool", it will help greatly during the removal of the older switch.

I can't believe it's this affordable to get a new one now during the sale. Back then diy the switches just much more economical. Great mouse regardless.
