To be fair, just cause they advertise a thing for something doesn't guarantee that thing will be good for something. However, in this case; the answer is "yes" 😘
Are you being serious or? The item name is literally "Samsung - 980 PRO Heatsink 2TB Internal SSD PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe for PS5". All you had to do was click the link.
Doubt it. Prime day is for deals on mostly off brand cheap Chinese brands which is what Amazon is 99.8% now.

These had firmware issues when they first came out. It was fixed a long while back and they were cheaper during the fiasco. I would suppose some people still avoid them for that reason. It's a good price.

Just in case this is old stock that hasn't been rotated through, I'd put it in a PC and use the samsung magician software to make sure it's firmware is updated and not the old bad version. Update it to the new version with the software if it's the old version. I've got one that I updated, and it's perfectly fine.

It is good deal who cannot wait. But waiting for prime day might show us some great deals. 990 Pro or SN 850X is much better and faster.

I feel that's more true if it had a brand you have never heard of, but being Samsung it seems strange to piss away good rep on a blatant lie.
