An unopened box of triscuits, or most any other cracker, will be good for many months and likely years after its best-by date. If I see a nonperishable at a decent discount close to its best-by date, that's a bargain.

When you select the coupon it says, "$0.72 coupon applied to one item at checkout," but it will apply to more than one box. Limit is 5.

Be warned, I did the triscuit deal last month and when they came in they were all expiring within 2 weeks. Amazon refunded as they do not do food returns, nor will they resend.

And that is your choice and probably true for many perishables. But I would like to make that choice at point of sale. At least when I purchase Nespresso capsules from the Amazon on sale they tell you the exp date if it is close.

Oh, I totally agree, it should absolutely be a legal requirement that the age of the product be provided to the consumer before any online food sale-should not be difficult for a computer inventory system to do. Among numerous other consumer protections that ought to be enacted but,sadly, almost certainly never will. (and they need to tell us the date of manufacture rather than some arbitrarily made up best-by date)
I just assume anything I order that's a bargain is close to the best-by date, and if it arrives and is fresher than that,it's just an added bonus.

That just means the warehouses are out of stock, but they expect another shipment soon. Often 1 to 2 months becomes 2 weeks.
