I got this deal last year. Its a very nice card.

you can also get cashback deals to the tune of 8% or 10% at certain cashback websites for lenovo to further bring the price down.

I bought an HP Omen 25L during the pandemic when PC components were hard to get. I will probably need to build a new PC for this graphic card because it won't fit and there will not be enough PSU wattage or airflow. Should I get a new case and PSU? or build a new PC from scratch? Any recommendations on what I should do? worship

Wait a few months until NVIDA announces the 50xx series cards. Most likely you will need to get a new case, without knowing anything about the above case. HP and most OEMs like that use some priority nonsense making upgrading very difficult at the least.

Everything you said is true. You're right, I'm going to hold out until the 50xx series cards are released.

For those who are maybe new to pc gaming and or don't follow tech, NVIDIA releases a new card every two years. They issue a refresh a year after that. IMHO the wait from this point is well worth it. You will see prices drop on the 40xx series over the next few months in an attempt to clear out inventory. The only time this didn't happen was during the pandemic when most pc components were sparce.

I've followed the upgrade path every other generation for a long time. Currently running a 3090 & i9 10850k. Been holding out for an upgrade a while as I was first in line for 3090. Being forced to buy a pre-built pos for $4500+ at the time and I still got plenty of use out of the machine. I'm excited to build a pc again.
