I don't understand people that complain about any legitimate deal. I like to save money on everything possible. Especially things I have to buy soon anyway. It also seems nonsensical to complain about $2.50 off an $8 item when that might mean over 30% off. But, some people are bad at math and basic reasoning, so to each their own.

Should last indefinitely if stored outside of direct sunlight and in dry place, as long as temps are normal house temp.

I'm always apprehensive with this kinda thing that is supposed to last like a year and I can't see the expiration day before buying.

I don't understand this app. This is a slick deal? Are people really thinking they scored a deal saving $1-2 on granulated onion?

Unlike onion powder that cakes within months if there is any humidity, granulated onion seems to stay good for years in air conditioning.

According to my Amazon account I last bought this in February 2022 and I'm still using it and the flavor is fine. Best by date is December 2024.

Don't worry my parents have some from the 90s that's still good. Sure it's solidified a bit from moisture, but they just chip a little off the block with a knife.

How do people use this? Same as black pepper? Can it replace fresh onion?

In recipe, what's the difference. a lot things call for onion powders. Do you think this would still work?

As far as I can tell the difference is the grind size. Powder is smaller than granules. This might make a difference to you if you're using it in breading for a fry. Wouldn't make much difference in wet applications. You can grind it in a spice/coffee grinder to go from this to powder.

looks like the price dropped to $4.70. in for 1. i still have a quarter box left, but this is too good to pass up. i never thought in a million years that i would be doing most of my grocery shopping on amazon. that 8 pound knor chicken soup powder was an awesome deal at $11. that's the price at my supermarket for a half pound container. how times have changed. and $1.39 for prego pasta sauce that sells for $4.25. at least i dont have to carry it home.
