I had the original, with box and all.Sold it to a collector about 14 years after it was released. I needed the money at the time, but still one of the biggest regrets of my life!!! I loved Soundwave back in the day. Might buy this just for the hell of it!!!

Not sure what you're referring to, the tech specs card on the package shows a weapon icon to show the relative "strength"

Kind of. It's a retool of that mold with a different head and paint scheme to be more of a "what if we made the 80s toy more accurate to the cartoon colors and style"
