First listing post so apologize if something isn't quite right.

Anyway, think this is a good deal for direct burial wire $1.07ft or $.62ft over 250'. Lowest I've seen in a very long time. Must be picked up otherwise delivery fee appears to be $99. Price varies by store selected, YMMV.

Great deal, but price definitely varies by location. The lowest I'm seeing by me is 1.57

$1.07 and up in greater Phoenix area. Still, I need 20 feet to move a 30A RV outlet, so I'm in. Thanks OP.

Depending on how long your run is, 10 gauge will work for 30 amp 120v or less (20 amp, 15 amp). If you have a long run 30 amp, you may want to step up to 8 gauge. But plan on spending a fortune on 8/2 or 8/3. 💲

$1.59/ft for me, you should specify in the title that the $.62 pricing applies only to 250' or more

Don't forget that you can also get 40A out of 10 gauge if the run is shorter (say, up to 30 feet). NEC is incredibly conservative. I've been running my 30A heater at 5000W on 12G forever and a day. No conduit and the yellow stuff. The NEC even suggests this truth with their 80% load specification.

You'd better run for it. I doubt it will last for very long. I'm curious though, what amperage does your gate call for?

Yeah, none have 500.. I could probably get away with 400 feet and none have that. The gate doesn't use much power as it operates off of solar now on a 12v battery. I want lights at the gate and a possible outlet so the wife can plug in Christmas decorations.

Wow, that is like a third of the going price, and am I wrong in remembering this stuff rarely goes on sale?

I don't need it now but there is a store near me with it at the discount - tempting at this price.

You should be good with 12/2 for all of that then, not sure about the pricing for that but you can try local trade places or supplies to maybe get it cheaper.

Seems like complete overkill for what you are describing...but if's cheaper that 12/2 then why not?
