How do these games hold up today? Haven't played a solid open world game in a while.

I played 1 recently for about 10 hours. Game holds up great compared to newer / similar games (WD1 is 10 years old at this point). Would have kept playing but I honestly prefer more combat. WD1 seems 50% exploring, 15% hacking, 25% driving, and 10% combat. I would have kept playing if combat was more regular and spontaneous, normally you only enter combat during missions which I guess is more realistic but not as much fun from my POV.

For $3 I got more than my money's worth and there was PLENTY more game to play. I doubt I hit 15% completion.

If it matters to anyone: WD1 plays perfect on the Steam Deck.
