It's non returnable, please double check. These days, amazon customer service became pretty hard to handle.

Good price for $0.5/Wh, but like many smaller power stations, this unit will have very poor inverter efficiency (80% or below per most tests).

It also uses an extremely inefficient solar charge controller for some reason, which is more specific to EcoFlow's cheaper units, but compared to a really high quality MPPT you will easily sacrifice 30% of your incoming power. Guess EcoFlow decided to save a few $ there, I guess they assumed people will largely use these as power banks rather than to receive solar energy.

Edit: regarding solar charge efficiency, very few reviewers test this spec for some reason, which is infuriating. Or they will just test with a DC power supply lol. So I tested quite a few of the smaller power stations on some panels I own

So it's not Hazmat when they ship it to consumer but Hazmat when we ship it back? Hmmm…

I miss my River 2 Max after having sold it to a friend (still have the Delta 2). Here's hoping some of those appear @ bottom-of-the-barrel prices again soon - good middle ground between the 'too small' 256Wh River 2, and this bigger 768Wh that's starting to get a little close to the much-more-capable Delta 2 in size.

Still, even this Pro @ ~17 lbs can be easily carried one handed, and it's not too awkward to pick up/set down either. R2 Max is just a good bit lighter/smaller @ ~13 lbs. Fan noise is pretty reasonable, you get pure sine wave output, USB-C 100W in/out, and their solar input is enough to charge itself in just a few hours... these River 2s check off a lot of good-to-have boxes.

Lots of uses.
CPAP machine while camping.
Tent fan while camping.
Power a router / cable modem / laptop during a power outage.
Run a 1/3 HP to 1/2 HP sump pump for a while during a power outage.
Run a small RV-style 12V cooler/freezer for quite a while while camping or during a power outage.
Run an LCD projector and laptop for a makeshift movie night while camping.

With the surge capability, you could probably even run a chest freezer for a while on this to keep food frozen during a prolonged power outage. My chest freezer's compressor uses about 800+ watts to start, but uses less than 500W continuously while it's running. It doesn't have to run for hours and hours. Just an hour or two of run-time will cool things down enough to buy you a lot of time if you have a new-ish well-insulated, efficient freezer.

I have a high powered work laptop I use for CAD. I believe it uses a 300w+ power supply. Approx. how many hours can I run my laptop off this. I am thinking of using this for remote work.

If you want an accurate representation, get a watt meter (20ish bucks). Then see how many watt you use in an hour.

Assume you get about 80% efficiency on the 768whs you have about 614wh or useable power. So maybe 2 hours at 300w/h.

Delta2 does anything better than this model besides higher output and capacity?

300w power supply would be max for like extra screens and other things attached. Like Aussiehole said, check with a watt meter. Otherwise check what it's battery capacity and divide that by 768 and multiply your typical time it's booted.

I have the 256wh version and I use it to power my portable fridge in the SUV. If power goes out, I can use it to power my work laptop + monitor for a couple hours. I could also plug in my garage door opener if power goes out so that I can still operate it without having to manually opening/closing it.
