This is a very good deal! This is the lowest "over-the-spot" for such a product that I've seen in a long tim.
What's better - when you factor in 4% cash back (2% for Executive membership + 2% Citi cashback) it is actually below spot!

I agree. This is a good deal compared to spot. With that said, Friday's deal for the same coin at the same price is better since spot was about $30 higher on Friday.

I personally prefer the Gold Maple over the otger coins, but coin buyers in the USA will disagree since the Buffalo and Eagle will fetch higher premiums. I'm not sure if it is the same in Canada.

Can you use the $60 off Executive coupon on these?

Gold is not a good buy right now. It's basically at an all-time high. Silver at $31 is a much better buy at a 1:7 physical ratio, but even silver is pumping to highs we haven't seen in a long time. I like gold, but wait until it dips back to around $2,000 before considering purchasing. Or consider buying silver generic buffalos and/or silver Eagles instead.

Source: I'm a precious metals enthusiast and have a YouTube channel devoted to stacking and giving advice about this exact topic. I probably have around $100k of shiny in the safe. I'm definitely not buying gold right now.

This is not a good deal. You can get gold from Walmart.com via the Walmart Cash Back Mastercard for $2300, $60 below spot, with three-day free shipping. The cash back equates to around $121 and hits your account a few days after delivery.

I see the lowest price on walmart for this coin (2024, not random year) being 2,460.62, after their 5% cash back card, the net price is $2,337.59.

However purchasing with a costco executive membership and their citi card nets you a price of $2,303.99.

There are better options than the 2% citi card as well. Can you please show your work on how walmart is cheaper?

Just because you're a self proclaimed precious metals enthusiast and whale, doesn't make you right.

Being a metals enthusiast you should also know SilverEagles are a horrible purchase for their markup. One is WAY better off buying 100 oz bars.

Not if you have connections and buy in bulk, dude. I didn't stack a luxury car in metals and not learn a thing or two about how to buy. I was buying Eagles at $25 a pop less than a year ago. I can now flip them for $35.

Also, kilos and higher weights require a mandatory IRS form if you try selling at a local coin store, and you will have to pay capital gains tax automatically. But I'd never recommend selling to a LCS.

When someone claims to be a serious enthusiast, you should be humble and listen, not play devil's advocate when you're clearly out of your league here. Take a seat.

Buying gold now is like buying Nvidia now. The ship has sailed. Wait for a better time to strike.

Also, you must not have sold many 100-oz. bars in your lifetime, as it's not easy to find a buyer for a good price, even for someone like me.
