Costco by us is the craziest busiest place (Yonkers, NY)... just thinking of driving in that direction gives me anxiety. I'd rather go with the somewhat unimaginative selection at Sam's Club instead with their much easier app-based shopping experience.

Signed up 7/13 and got my $40 shop card today using the promo code SLICK24. Also, this is my 2nd year of membership with a promo. Last year was $45 shop card from Groupon. I just used a different email address.

Membership is active as soon as you sign up. You could go to the warehouse to get the physical card anytime you like.
