Costco by us is the craziest busiest place (Yonkers, NY)... just thinking of driving in that direction gives me anxiety. I'd rather go with the somewhat unimaginative selection at Sam's Club instead with their much easier app-based shopping experience.

I know it says it takes up to two weeks to get the $40 shop card and $60 off promo code, but wanted to hear from others how long it took to get these after signing up? Thanks!

UPDATE: just got the shop card and promo code (in separate emails) today, 5 days after signing up Smilie

The mofos are sneaky. When I signed up for membership in Nov. 2022, the auto renewal was defaulted. After I received the $40 gift card, I removed the auto renewal and make sure it was removed. Near my membership expiration date, my membership was renewed without my consent. I had to call and ask why was my membership renewed without my consent. Never received a direct answer but blah blah blah...

PSA - in the "Welcome. Thank you for joining" email towards the bottom I found a code for $10 off $100 online order. The $60 off $200 code and the $40 cash card came in separate emails later. Worth checking that email for a potential additional promo code!

I just talked to Costco Member Service, they said add-on members are also considered as having previous membership and they refused to give me Costco Shop Card!
