If you have enough time, you can order the Samsung.com deal and PU at BB and just swap SSD's so you don't have to re-do the whole setup again. Then, take back the original unit to BB and get a refund.
EDIT are these automated comparisons correct?

So basically the core 7 is the 14th gen with extremely minor "refresh" improvements over 13th gen?
The Core 7 150u is only 1% better than the i7-1355u and 11% better than the 1255u? both 13/14th gen are a decent jump over 12th gen.
Then the next step up core ultra 7 155u is about 9% better than the core 7 150u
Can anyone confirm if that sounds right?

Easiest way to know if CPU is really new is by socket. New ones will all use either FCLGA1851 or FCBGA1964 (H series). The rest are marketing tricks.
Instead of stressing further, I'm cancelling my order and spending a bit more to get the acer swift go 14. I really liked it when checking it out at costco and the manufacturer refurbished from acer with 2 year warranty is 100 less than new. Upgrades all around to justify the increase in price. Most important to me is the "ultra core 7 155h" processor over the "core 7 150u"

latest gen core 7, 16gb ram.
no touchscreen, but ethernet is pretty rare in a budget model.
thinking I'll be pretty happy as long as the USB-C can connect to my hub for power and two 1440p displays.
Also already ordered the ipad mini 2 in good condition on ebay (has a 1 yr warranty too). It should arrive in 3-4 days right around the time I need to pickup my order from best buy on 7/13.
Hoping for an easy trade in process with samsung, but I'll test and record myself packing the ipad just in case. This is my first samsung trade in rodeo.
