Any warranty? The product shows discontinued on Crucial site. Seems like a gamble (or pay the $7 for Allstate warranty).

It will still have the normal 5 year warranty if bought new.

When they discontinue making a product that doesn't void warranty.

We require proof of purchase as part of our terms of warranty.

PS
"You must have proof of purchase and obtain warranty service authorization from Micron CPG, including a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number within the applicable warranty period before returning defective products to Micron CPG."

Not much of a gamble. This is a top end NVME from a very reputable company. Probability of failure is extremely low. For Gen 4 it's not running at the head of the pack, but it's a solid performer:https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...ssd-review
[the controller is still an 8-channel design that leverages LPDDR4 DRAM to accelerate FTL management. The 500GB model and 1TB model utilize 1GB of DRAM]

It was cheaper months ago, but EVERYTHING was then. It's unusual to get a drive with these kind of specs for this price now.

I was told they wouldn't honor it unless through one of their resellers?

Could be. I didn't notize this was an ebay deal. I saw the Crucial link and didn't look closer.

I was really excited too until I contacted them. I think it's BS when Samsung doesn't require this
