You can probably get a TLC drive for the price.

Only if you use it as a storage drive and not as your boot drive.

There's a KingSpec XG 7000 4TB at Newegg for $195 right now: https://www.newegg.com/kingspec-4...000D-00175

KingSpec claims write endurance of 2400TB.

Sorry but that's a no-name brand shipped directly from Shenzhen China.. Would definitely not trust that.

There are two different drives, a TLC and a QLC one.

Write endurance seems questionably low for the QLC one.

KingSpec's been around a while, and the drive gets good reviews on Newegg. I'm not advocating for the brand, but we are looking at entry-level SSD deals here.

Using Newegg as a source of truth is as perilous as ordering from there.

Man, I wonder what you all are doing with your SSDs that you are writing thousands of TB. My primary drive on my work and gaming pc has nearly 27,000 hours of operational time and 48TBW over its ~4 year life.

I have never had an SSD fail on me. The Teamgroup SSD in my PC has been working perfectly for 8 years and is still going strong.

Definitely get the TLC drive for Only $4 more.
QLC should be about 75% of a TLC drive. You need a lot fewer flash cells since it stores more levels. That's also what makes the endurance and write speeds lower.
