As mentioned in couple of other posts, on the day you submit your rebate keep an eye out for the rebate confirmation email. Mine went to spam for whatever reason.

Also, if you don't have a Walmart close by, Home Depot will price match Wally. They had it in-store for $27 .

Went to Wally and grabbed two, and upon submitting the rebate realized that it was not the Platinum flavor. Dang.

My gmail could not be verified. I had to use my work email. I tried crome, edge and firefox. Last year I used my gmail email.

I submitted the rebate online on 7/18 and I received the rebate approval today. This was 19 days after my online submission. The email was titled "Your Pennzoil® purchase has been confirmed. Time to choose your gift card!"

My purchase was directly from a retail Walmart store and I used the suggestion to just put the oil on its own receipt. Thanks to the OP and everyone else for sharing their experiences!

Thanks for the single receipt tip! That's what I did and my rebate was just approved. It can't hurt for clarity in case they have to search for the oil among a pile of other items. The Walmart product name was pretty compressed: "PZLPL OW205QT"

I bought 0w16 Platinum in store but the receipt only lists the UPC numbers and doesn't say Pennzoil. UPC matches whats on the oil jug for 0w16. I wonder if I'll get denied.
