For those who care, this only appears to support SBC over bluetooth, according to versus[versus.com], and Anker's forum[soundcore.com]. AptX/LDAC might be a bit much to ask for, but kinda disappointed that it doesn't even support AAC...
Anker is also discounting all older model speakers to move them. I just bought the latest boom plus 2 boom box thing from them. Was $250!! But it's sweat.

How is the bass? I don't want it super loud, but most small speakers sound tiny and lack good bass.
Tweak the EQ with the app and this speaker sounds so much better than out of the box. I used Alan Ross' EQ for the Motion Boom and did a slight tweak from there. I got mine for $50 from a previous walmart black friday and I'm very happy with it. I keep the lights off which helps battery life slightly.

There are many videos of the soundcore motion boom (same sound as select pro) on YouTube. It is not a tiny pocket speaker but more of a lunchbox sized portable.
This speaker has some of the best bass for a speaker of size and weight not to mention $. It often beats speakers from JBL that cost three times as much. I have purchased five of them for friends over the years and think they are all still working.
The Harmon Kardon studio speakers have deeper bass but not great for outdoors with the small battery life.

Great device but my only issue is the jump in volume from the lowest setting to one notch above it is way too high. This is consistent with any device that you pair to the speaker.
Download 'Soundassistant' (I have Android, so Playstore) and you can customize how much each volume 'click' is. I had the same issue that totally annoyed me with a Soundcore speaker.
Does anyone know how many of these could be connected together? I am having a wedding in my backyard and October and I'm wondering if I could put these around the yard and connect together as one system
