These are great little speakers, and being able to tie multiple together is awesome. Highly recommend. Good sound for such a small speaker. My go-to for travel.

No Issues with latency if its just audio, however if you check the sync with the video, there is no BT device in the market which is 100% accurate, in spite of the mumbo-jumbo marketing they use to sell the product.
Is there an easy way to connect a few of these to a smart speaker input since they don't have that built in? Preferably YouTube music or something via a google assistant.

There are ways, but none of them are very easy I'm afraid. These don't have an aux jack.
I scooped one of those up. Seems like a great deal. They are still for sale for $100 on amazon, or $55 refurbished. Great to just throw in the back of the car and have ready for a BBQ or beach day, and not have to worry about it.
Depends what you want to do with them. If you want just one good speaker, the select pro is going to have better sound and better battery life. But if you want to set up a party on location, you can more easily buy a bunch of flare 2s and sync them all up. You can sync up the Select Pro as well, but its more bulky and the sound is more directional.
I have 3 of the Flare 2s already, deciding adding either 2 more flares or 1 select pro to the mix. Decisions decisions...
I picked one of these up a few years ago and returned it pretty quick after comparing it to my JBL Charge's and Flip's. Kinda muddy and very little bass. The Flare 2 will probably sound fine to most people if they don't have anything else to compare it to.

I have two of these and pair to an old Echo Dot via Bluetooth. Works great.
