I got a Q Revo from Costco for $670 and am very happy with it. What makes the S7 Max Ultra cost $130 more?

I am impressed with mine as well. I got the Costco Q Revo S, and it's amazing, and clearly a generation better than the Roomba J7. I can see exactly where it is on the map, the mapping is far faster and more accurate, and overall it feels far more put together and ready.
I know they hate on the object detection but no matter how good it is on different versions you still are gonna have to pickup.
Now if they can design a robot to yell at my kids to pickup after themselves on repeat so I don't have to id upgrade to that! Haha

Waiting for a sale on the Max Ultra Super-deluxe Platinum Limited Edition Signature model.

Side note: I have the Roborock Q Revo which is the value version of this I think, and it's great compared to a similar level Ecovacs which has a few problems (ignoring like half of its map, requiring a reset and a relearning to address, just for it to start ignoring half the map again after a few cycles, with nothing on the map indicating why, like added obstacles, etc.)
It's true their lineup names are ridiculous. They have like 20 models with slightly different feature for each. Very confusing trying to pick one.

Fantastic deal at an amazing price. I paid $250 more and don't regret it at all
Have you tried any other brands like EcoVac that are half the price for similar features?

I have not personally but if you search on YouTube for "The Hook Up robot vacuum" Rob does very thorough reviews and testing including ecovacs. Definitely worth a watch if you are in the market because your needs will be specific to your home.

Better AI.
Better camera (object detection)
Better mopping, brushing, pickup
- Higher power vac
- The mopping moves to the 'edges' to get better edge mopping

Can someone help me understand the value of a robot vac? I used to have an original Roomba and it was taken to Goodwill a few years back because the battery only lasted about 10 minutes (even after replacing it once) and I still had to clean and mop. I'm sure this is light years ahead of the original Roomba in terms of functionality, but I still have a hard time seeing the value. I have a two story home with mostly hardwood floors, including all stairs, and a few low pile area rugs. One of these is only good for one of the two floors. Lots of steps so it doesn't help there. The docking station seems convenient at first but you still have to empty / clean / refill that. I keep a tidy and uncluttered house without kids or long haired dogs but this still can't get into many areas (e.g., under chairs / barstools, in corners, behind trash cans). Currently I use a bona dust mop and run over the floors every week or two and use a stick vac on the carpets. I would like to upgrade to a more powerful vac for the carpeted areas. I feel I would be better served by putting the money toward something like a nice bagged Sebo vac for the rugs and keep doing the bona on the hardwood which is less wear and tear on the floor vs. this machine. I like the idea but I feel that you need a small ranch home with nothing in it for it to make sense.

If you only need to dust mop once every other week, and you don't have a family, pets, etc., then you aren't the target market for this.

For those of us who do, this is a godsend.

I just snagged the Q Revo and this thing is amazing. How much better could this one get?!
Agree...I bought the Q Revo from Costco and have been very impressed cleaning vinyl plank and tile floors for our business (hair salon). I read the dual spinning micro fiber (Q Revo) mops better than the large vibrating pad.

Was normal price 899 yesterday on Amazon, so $100 less.. Just added roborock S7, the Eufy x10 pro, and the Dreame l10s to keep track of. The dreame (899) now has $250 off today coupon making it a more slick deal if your buying today.. Im holding until BF to get one of these best of 2023 cleaners hopefully cheaper..

Does it take high res photos/videos of the poop?
It does in fact take pictures of the poop if you want.
