I Just picked up a Weber Genesis II E-335 at Costco in Arlington, Texas. It was just marked down from $799 to $599. They had two left in store plus the floor model. I could not leave it there at that price. The last Weber Genesis I had lasted 15 years!
P.S. This is my first time posting a deal. Forgive me if I missed any particulars.

@ryanedoyle beat me to it by 40 minutes. I saw this earlier today at a nearby Costco (Wheaton, MD); they had one left. Had to go home and wait for my son to bring home the Highlander, but when we got back to the Costco, I sadly had to watch someone wheel away that last one right in front of me. I panic queried the CSR, who told me there were nine left at a Costco 15 minutes away (Beltsville, MD). Got there and saw only two left on the floor, grabbed one. Our current Genesis has lasted us almost TWENTY years, time for an upgrade!

Wow I am glad you found it at another store. I never get lucky enough to walk into a deal like this!

I would have buy it there and ask costco to hold for me to come back and pick up
Quality has really slipped on the Gen II models. Webers are not what they used to be.
Bullshit. The lids on the Genesis II models are double walled and heavier, thicker cast aluminum.
The G4 burner and ignition system are more reliable and robust.
The cart and base are better quality and less prone to rusting by design.
The sear burner works very well and the older version has none.

A family member who does a similar amount of grilling has gone through two Char-Broil branded grills in 6 years.
The Weber is holding up great and I could see it lasting another 5-7 years easy.
Do yourself a favor and get a damn grill cover while you're at it.

(site seems to indicate yes, at their discretion- but wondering how successful people have been in the past)
