I don't know why the solar say up to 300w.
It used to be up to 400w and I've gotten close to 400w before.
The older revision had a 400W solar input. The newer revision was reduced to 300W. I'm not sure what other changes were made.
Yes, I consultant their website, and got the answer that solar input is 300W Max now, they said that 98% of customers use 200W or 400W solar panel, after removed the energy conversion loss, the input rarely exceeds 300W, so setting it to 300W Max input is sufficient

I also bought it a year ago, also with 400W max solar input, now the e600lfp is 300W input, in fact I only have a 200W panel, it has no effect on me, I'm now waiting for Pecron E3600LFP, it's expected to get it this week,
