The main requirement is that you be with them for 36 months.
Check out their website, in general for trade-in , It does say the value of the phone has to be at least a dollar but that doesn't mean they are going to give you $1000 for any junk phone.
Edit: l put in iPhones XS for trade, it gave me $1045!

can't order more than one on the same account if you already ordered. They used to allow ordering multiples as long as the phone didn't ship. Now it just gives error and they say to call Spectrum.
Also, they used to send the trade in shipping labels immediately after ordering. It's been two days and they still haven't sent any. I'm assuming it's because of the order cancellation they did sometimes and then screwing people out of their credit + phone afterward?
I was hoping to get the credit back by the time the phone released but I guess that's not happening this time.

Honestly, I doubt spectrum is cracking anything down, their system is a hot mess. I couldn't even get a line of mine to be cancelled. Stuck on my account as suspended (but the line actually still works), I already called twice and escalated to various department and was told should be remove but nope. Stopped wasting my time since I'm not being charge for it now. Will leave that mess when sh*t happens down the line.
P.S: for those that plan on getting the fold 6. I would recommend getting the flip 6 first, then depending how brave you are, upgrade on the spot or wait couple days to upgrade again to fold with the flip as trade in. If everything is like last time, the flip should have a boosted value trading in for the fold. Judging from how the previous deal, can proabaly save around $200.
