This is the code for the $50 Reserve Credit. I think it's the same for everyone.

This is going to be a YMMV deal. You need to post the combination of discounts you used to get down to $56.

What's your wrist perimeter? Mine is like 7". What size should I get? (Mine seem to fit into both S/M & M/L category), just asking someone may having more experience on these wrist band (first smart watch for me).
Mine are like 6" or a hair less. It will likely be whether you want a lot of extra strap if you tighten the watch fully, or have it comfortable without too much excess. I'd say the M/L is probably a safer bet unless you want to guarantee an ultra tight fit.

Its not 12% on wearables. The purple button says 12% but the 12% is only on mobile phones and 10% on wearables. Also the sales tax is not calculated based on the final subtotal but rather the subtotal minus discounts and not the trade in credit.

That means that the sales tax is calculated $379 - $50 - $31= $298 in your case

"R" has the following breakdown
Mobile Phones = 12%
Earbuds, Home Appliances, Home Electronics (TVs & Home Theater), Monitors, Wearables = 10%
Tablets & Laptops = 5%
All Other, Memory = 3%
I seem to remember that my browser extension said 12% on mobile and wearables. They change the levels often. Anyway, better than nothing.

I have a Galaxy watch 4. I selected this watch for the trade in value. I then entered the code on this page. I then clicked the education discount and received that. I am not in school nor am I parent of someone who is school aged. I did not need to prove a thing and still received the discount. My order has been confirmed twice. The total after tax was $63ish. This was for the 40mm size. Oh, they also throw in an extra free band.

Yeah I guess its possible. I don't know how often the percentages are changing. typically the percentages are not changing daily so I assume it was like this since the promotion started. As of 1 or 2 days ago it was 10% on wearables.

Seems Reserve promo $50 off is for onetime use only. I ordered buds3 pro earlier, now cannot get the discount again.
For me best I can get is $80 for watch 7 40mm with watch 5 trade-in.

Doesnt seem very slick.

Any one can share a promo code ?
All you have to do is go into the chat feature in the app and they'll create the cart for you to check out with another $50 off. I got the buds pro and both model watches doing this.

Had a 4 and 4 classic I traded and my buds 2 pro. I paid $83 for the 44mm, $79 for the buds 3 and $259 for the Ultra. All with the -$50, and military discount under the same account.

Did anyone turn in their watch 6? I'm still not seeing the benefit going from one to the other save for what's probably again minor battery and performance gains. The new sensor seems more gimmicky than anything. Getting same pricing as someone turning in a Watch 5 based on this thread so may as well wait for the watch 8 or better deal on the ultra it seems.
Been debating this to. Traded in my original buds for the buds pro 3. But just can't pull the trigger on watch trade in.

Does Samsung charge sales tax on the original amount vs. the discounted amount? I have not received the final invoice yet, but in the checkout flow it was showing tax on the original amount, not the 63.99 after the trade in and discounts.

Depends on your state's tax regulations. Here in California, the sales tax is on the original price of the item after subtracting any discounts and rewards other than a trade credit.

Decided to buy a watch 4 classic off ebay for ~$50, makes the watch 7 about $90 total after the discounts (EPP/EDU), minus maybe $5-10 cashback if it posts.

My watch 4 previous just went up and died on me years back, so I will give them one more shot. Literally hardly used the thing, sat for a few months and went to use it again and it wouldn't charge or respond to any attempts at reviving. I tried buying a replacement battery as well and that didn't do the trick.

i traded in my 5pro for 7 44mm, green sport band with free band for total of $46.54, in S.CA.
my trade in showed must send in by 7/27, a simple chat got it extended it to 8/03.
Hi can you let me know how did you know when to ship your trade in back. A lot of people here have that information. For me I can't find that in "my order" or even email. Probably not looking at the right place? I placed the order last Sunday 7/14 and didn't see any update beside I got your order email.

Thanks!!!

Why can't you just return the Galaxy 5 Pro and trade in the Galaxy 4 for this promo? I dont understand why you think you are SOL on this. You still have time. You can use the Galaxy 4 in the mean time until the Galaxy 7 watch comes.

I don't think this is a CA specific thing. It never discounts any trade in credit as from sales tax.

See my post below. Basically you have 15 days from the day you receive your watch to complete the trade in process. I even put in the Samsung's Trade In T&Cs and highlighted their terms.

My 5 year old smartwatch is starting to go belly up.

Chose the 100$ trade in credit for "any smartwatch any condition" and with the savings it seems like a good deal (even with CA tax):

Galaxy Watch7, 44mm, Green, Wifi/Bluetooth $329.99
Instant Trade-In Discount: Any Smartwatch, Any Condition - $100.00
Galaxy Watch7 Athleisure Band, M/L, Silver $0.00
Education Savings -$36.00
Reserve Promotion -$50.00

Subtotal $143.99
+ ~20 tax = ~163

plus hopefully 10% CB

thoughts ?
