You're just a bit of an oddity Wink

I know a few people that call people during their walks and earphones with a good mic > speakerphone or holding phone to head. Then there's the people that prefer earphones over headphones+mic for their computer/calling. And carrying a camera everywhere can be a nuisance when you don't need the absolute greatest clarity and just want to capture a moment to remember - not wanting the best clarity from a camera isn't going to stop people from wanting to make sure they still have the best quality from best phone in a camera (instead of potato quality photos).

Is that a bad thing when design = better function? If you were competing with a company that's outperforming in one area (how many Samsung phone owners own Airpods Pro 2?) would you rather spend millions/billions in R&D or reverse engineer/copy what is seen as successful parts of the design?

I messages support on that because I have some super old gen1 airpods that I was looking to upgrade sometimes soon. I think you're OK with any version but you can just message them and then grab the model number from your bluetooth settings to give them and they'll give you confirmation.
