i don't think so.. tie shoes would be better for running. these are more casual every day shoe.

Honestly, I'd probably stick to walking the dog, or trips to the grocery store. Not going to mess with these at the gym.
So yeah you can run in it, but there are much better options. This is a shoe that first released in 2000. Probably at the time it was a decent runner. Not now. It's mainly for casual wear just like retro Jordan's
