Amazon had a targetted 5% coupon 2 months ago that bought the price down to $331.55 but this is a better price with the 5% additional rewards when using Prime credit card to check out. This is a great filter and very quiet on auto mode running 24/7.

Coway website have the same price if you prefer graphite color.

how quiet are these? I have a smaller one (different brand) and it just acts as white noise and after a bit I cant even hear it's there...

I run 3 in the living room (2 Airmega 300 on ends next to windows/door and the Airmega 400 in the middle) on auto 24/7 so it doesn't run at high speed often unless we are cooking where the kitchen is in the next room over. I don't notice it even at the middle speed but this is subjective. Here's my research and I encourage anyone with experience on sound/noise chime so we can all learn.

This is the spec on Amazon:
[Coverage] Designed to clean spaces up to 1,560 sq. ft. in 30 minutes.Noise Level : 22-52 dB(A).

According to miracle-ear.com : Generally, the range of human hearing spans 0 decibels (dB) to 120-130 dB

And decibalpro.app : The lowest decibel a human can hear is 0 dB. In some exceptional cases, humans can hear sounds down to -15 dB. 0 dB sounds are very soft and barely perceivable by the human ear.
50 dB is as loud as a quiet conversation, a quiet suburb, a quiet office, or a quiet refrigerator. Notice the use of the word 'quiet' when describing this noise level? That's because all sounds between 31-60 decibels are considered quiet

I also have Winix C535, C545 and C909 units. The Airmega 400 is suprisingly quieter while also moving alot more air than all of these but I think it is because it has dual inlets/filters.

The 600S noise is 26-55db and the 400 is 22-52db so not much of a difference. I believe they are both capable for similar sized room. I was looking at the 600S this morning when I saw it being almost $100 less. I did a search and not sure how relevant it is with the carbon being behind the Hepa (600S) or in front of the Hepa (400) filter. I am leaning on getting another 400.

600S: CADR of 410 CFM 400: CADR of 430 CFM (need to double check for the 400)

According to Aller Air:
A rule of thumb is that you need about 100 CFM for each 250 square feet of space. If you are looking for a small air purifier for your desk, for example, you will need about 100 CFM. A room air purifier typically has about 400 CFM.

Thank you. I have the 600s and I'm going to get rid of it for the coway 400S when it goes on sale. The reason is because coway is a legit HEPA filter at 99.9999% .01 micron. While the Levoit is 99.97% at .3 micron, and even that is questionable. When I bought levoit originally it was advertised as HEPA. Now they scrubbed all mention of HEPA unless it's in sleep mode. Looking into it there's BBB notice about it and lots of posts about levoit being forced to remove HEPA marketing due to being called out by Dyson. And the way levoit responded was very bad.

I recall Menbrane had similar issue. I returned the MSA3 but I don't think it had the labeling issue and got the Leviot Vital 200S.
