Took my child to get her hair did up and the beautician used a commercial version for this. I bought this from Dyson refurb directly about a year ago and outside of one of the tools having some light scratches it looked "new". Use it weekly and frankly it's GREAT. Her hair is very dense and thick so I feel the way it dries is very beneficial for gel-based styles.

I recommend this, but I don't think I'd buy it off eBay outside of the referenced Dyson store...

It's a more efficient way of drying hair. The attachments, especially the comb, dry hair faster without over heating strands or skin. I once said this is no different than a 30 dollar hairdryer until I had to dry my daughter's hair. It's literally saves me 70% less time and no kid fuss. Not sure how it functions as a regular hairdryer, but with the comb attachment this thing is totally more than worth it.

This one only comes with one attachment. There is another one latest generation for $209.99 on ebay dyson store if someone wants all attachments.

Totally agree, and we bought one a year ago too. No issues at all with the Dyson refurb from the ebay store, and this is a great price. The Dyson doesn't burn your hair like normal hair dryers do.

Had a GF buy one from another site (can't remember which one), and it worked for about a month and then stopped. She took it to a Dyson store and employee said it was a fake. Looked identical, including box, packaging, dryer, etc....but the plug on the cord was shaped slightly different, and that's how he knew it was a fake. They wouldn't touch it since it was a fake. She was out $200.

For $190 this is great.

Excuse my ignorance but what is so special about this hair dryer? I went over the description and it seems to do what any other $20-50 hairdryer does. Nothing more and nothing less, just dry hair. Please someone enlighten me.

I know some folks say they don't damage hair due to some method but it might be the air wrap version. I would like to be educated too

Bought refurb about six months ago for $20 more. Refurb was done by Dyson. No issues. Looked brand new except for two tiny scratches on the handle. Shipping was slow.

Drys long hair faster and with less heat.

This cut my wife's hair drying time in half. She has extremely thick, long, curly hair. So, it saves her about 10 minutes every 2-3 days. Worth it.

I bought one last year and it stopped working. I contacted Allstate; they sent me the prepaid label to send the hair dryer to them for fixing. I received the woring unit after 5 days. Great experience!
