I got these last time and like them. Battery lasts a long time. Beware that they put out a lot of mist so don't expect to stay mostly dry.

Get 0.1mm or 0.2mm nozzles from Amazon. I have the older larger fan version and it helps a lot. I still swap back the 0.3mm nozzles for sports events. Kids don't mind the extra output.

Yes they can. There's a switch for the fan, and then a switch to turn on the misting part.

I agree. Just picked these up 3 days ago...even on low they soak the floor in my workshop! Maybe there's a way to block one misting port to reduce the puddling.

Can they be used as regular fans?

Bought this a few weeks back. Was kind of disappointed in them back when it was 70 and warm in the sun. This week at 80-85 they are a god send.

Yes they will make your floor wet, no they do not work well in the wind unless you can angle the wind to carry to mist.

From my experience one 4ah battery on high fan low mist gets about 1.5 buckets of water and maybe 6 hours. Make of that what you will as I am not sure the condition of my batteries.

If you are already in the Ryobi 18v ecosystem and sit relatively stationary outside for whatever reason this is a no brainer purchase. Even inside without mist you can't go wrong. Buy with confidence.

I'm curious if these could double as wireless misting watering for a garden.

Recently purchased this 2 pack for use during BBQs. Hated how soaked I was from the misting.

Did not think to replace the misting nozzles!! Going to order the 0.1 mm right now. Thank you!

What are you using to draw water from a bucket?

The fan itself has a built in pump to siphon the water in order to mist

I guess I misinterpreted "Easily connect to standard garden hoses or pump water directly out of most 5-gallon buckets (Sold Separately)" To mean a pumping mechanism is sold separately.

The bucket is sold separately. If you go look on youtube I'm sure they have demos. The product itself includes it pumping from a bucket and an adapter to use a garden hose.

I've had a pair of these for two summers. They are great for outdoor cooling. We had temps over 100 degrees Fahrenheit during fourth of July and these puppies kept everyone nice and cool.

I got two of these last year and have used them wayyyy more than I thought I would. Kids sports games, doing yard work, just hanging out outside in the sun, watering flowers, etc.. Love these things!
