Good price but the retail is ridiculous. It's never that high.

Philips had a nationwide recall. They will send you a new machine free if your serial number matches their database. Might want to see if you can get a new free one first. I like my Resmed better than the Philips but you can't beat free.

I have the 11(this one) and it works great. No issues with reservoir. I noticed sometimes it will turn itself on but that's extremely rare.
Love the heated air tube on this one too. And the new mask design (full face mask with nasal pillow I think it's called?) with the tube on the crown of your head instead of in front of your face is the breast

Interesting that this post shows up, I'm sittin here at my brothers place right now and it so happens that he just got this same exact model from his doctor. Looking at the invoice, it shows that the doctor was sold the unit for what I can tell, $617. Brother didn't pay anything for it through insurance, but yet, that's what the invoice in the box shows.

Is it the AirFit P30i? I'm currently using the AirFit P10 but it sometimes falls off in the middle of the night, plus the tubing can get in the way. I'm thinking of giving the P30i a try but am worried that it might feel too bulky.
Try the Airfit N30. It's the next upgrade from P10 and lets you adjust the strap to tighten

I've had more problems with the 11 with rain out and drying me out even with automatic and manual settings than the 10. The 10 just seemed to perform a little better for me, also the water reservoir is bigger on 10 (will let you fill a bit more without overflow)

Hmm I haven't had any issue with it. But I do live in a humid area.

Well shoot I use an Adaptive servo ventilator after my motorcycle accident and those things are pretty pricey. Like 5G's and they're never on sale.

Yes and no...insurance will rent the unit and most DME's will let you own it once the rental has gone past the purchase price but the purchase price for this one would be around $1200-1300...depending on your copay a direct buy might be more worthwhile.

Very comfortable as a side and front sleeper with the P30i. It looks bulkier than it feels. Takes a bit to get used to the "pillows" being just inside your nostrils, but the N30 nose covering will work with the same headgear as the P30i, so you can try them both and see what works best for you. A little Neosporin on the nostrils helped alot the few couple weeks of mild irritation from the pillows.

I recently got a CPAP machine prescribed to me. Can current users tell me how much does re-supply cost (tubes, filters, etc.)? Any websites to check these against the local recommended supplier? The replacement schedule also looks aggressive...is that flexible?

Ty's ma will try. The other question is that I recall that I couldn't change any settings on the CPAP myself. It always had to be done by my doctor and it was done over cellular connection, can I make those changes yourself or is it the same thing that you need a doctor had a prescription to change the settings?
On the Resmed 10 there is a way to change nearly all your settings.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcPp1i0XuYU

I have the AirSense 10 AutoSet and I haven't needed to have any changes made by a doctor or health care provider - the automatic pressure algorithm (AutoSet) works great. There are some basic settings that you are able to change yourself (ie- mask type, humidifier level, ramp-up time, etc.). I remember many years ago my friend had an older model and how he had to access the doctor menu in order to fiddle with the pressure settings.
You just click and hold the knob and press the home button and it unlocks the doctor menu.

Masks come down to the person and what works for them. I can't tell you how many people said what was the best mask for them and they didn't work for me. It took me a very long time to acclimate to Cpap. I went through probably 10+ masks before settling on the p30i. Being that I move alot in my sleep, I needed something with the hose on top. The p30i shouldn't fall off as it partially enters your nose. The n30i rests just outside the nose but being a mover it would not stay in place for me. The p30i with this Airsense 11 has been great for me for about the last couple of years.

The 10 has two versions. When there was a shortage they came out with a non cellular version that you need to bring the SD card to the doctor. I think many insurance companies require you to use it a certain amount at least during the first few months. Unless I'm missing the point I don't see what the privacy difference is between remote data on my usage vs bringing the card down to the doctor. One just seems easier than the other.

If you're average weight or skinny and still have bad sleep apnea, see if you can get the inspire sleep apnea surgery. I'm 5'7 155 lbs. They saw my tongue falls back into my throat so I qualified. I love not having to use a c pap anymore
