Good price but the retail is ridiculous. It's never that high.

Philips had a nationwide recall. They will send you a new machine free if your serial number matches their database. Might want to see if you can get a new free one first. I like my Resmed better than the Philips but you can't beat free.

I have the 11(this one) and it works great. No issues with reservoir. I noticed sometimes it will turn itself on but that's extremely rare.
Love the heated air tube on this one too. And the new mask design (full face mask with nasal pillow I think it's called?) with the tube on the crown of your head instead of in front of your face is the breast

I've had my 10 since December and it's a fantastic machine. When I got it, I enquired with my health care provider about getting the 11 and they recommended the 10 as some of their patients had experienced issues with the 11. But I didn't ask about the specifics. That said, my friend has the 11 and he seems to love his.
I have the 10 and the 11. 11 is terrible. The reservoir holds less water and is an absolute pain to fill without making a mess. The 10 was a better design.

Ty's ma will try. The other question is that I recall that I couldn't change any settings on the CPAP myself. It always had to be done by my doctor and it was done over cellular connection, can I make those changes yourself or is it the same thing that you need a doctor had a prescription to change the settings?
My Resmed10 also works the same way as 11 , my GREEDY Dr. Changes the settings remotely (if not do appointments every 6 months) makes me discomfort in breathing and feels useless spending money.

I went the mouth piece route. I was lucky to find a dentist in network and I paid $300 and no machine. Insurance covered 90%

If only these machines had the ability to blow cold crisp air. I can't stand warm air getting blown in my nostrils. I have been throwing distilled water ice cubes in the water reservoir. At least I get cold air till I fall asleep.

My insurance paid that "retail" amount allegedly. My deductible on the device was just as much as the price shown on here.

If you have a CPAP prescription, some utilities will give you an extra 500 kWH per day against your peak energy use. Someone correct me but it could be up to a $0.10 per day savings if you go above Tier-2 energy use. It's not much but still a small discount. Here's an example of the IOU PG&E in California: https://www.pge.com/en/account/bi...er%20month

I'm with you on the cold air. The problem is it could lead to rainout if you use the humidifier. This unit does have adjustable tube temperature and I set it to colder. To prevent the rainout issue, I just don't use humidity at all.

Can't you put it in airplane mode to disable remote access?

Are you referring to the ResMed 10 or 11??

In the 10, I know there is a way to permanently disconnect the cellular antenna (thus disabling it) by opening it up and pulling the cables off the antenna inside (simple and easy - video's on YouTube show where it is).

On the 11, I'm not sure, as I don't have an 11 but I do believe the 11 is Wi-Fi as opposed to Cellular (4G) ?? If so, I'm sure there are ways. but you'd have to research it.

I believe, on the 10, if you disabled the cellular at the menu, it would turn itself back on after powered on/off...thus why some would disconnect the internal 3G/4G antenna.

BTW, the ABSOLUTE Best YouTube Channel for anything CPAP related is the Australian Guy who has his own CPAP DME down in Australia. Great info on everything CPAP related from machines, getting into advanced menu's, equipment, issues, etc...he does NOT hold back. https://www.youtube.com/@CPAPReviews

I was having issues with mine turning off as well. I ended up going into the settings menu and turning off the autostop function but kept the auto-on feature turned on. No issues anymore.

I used to work for a DME company in IL. Through insurance you end up paying like $1200 for one of these depending on insurance. Depending on your deductibles, it could be far less out of pocket. The retail they have is insane. We got these from Resmed for like $200 each. They're still making a decent buck on these at the sale price. Not bad though if you need a new machine and don't want to deal with the hassle.

The 11 has a cellular antenna. I'm pretty sure you can turn it off if you don't want your data transmitted back and forth.

I got this one but when I fill it up with water it tries to drown me halfway through my sleep. Have you experienced this?

That particular issue, if I understand what you are having, is called "Rainout".

Rainout can even happen with a heated hose.

They sell hose covers, which will help prevent rainout and also quiet the hose, as it moves around in the evening. Your spouse will appreciate that part!
