Philips had a nationwide recall. They will send you a new machine free if your serial number matches their database. Might want to see if you can get a new free one first. I like my Resmed better than the Philips but you can't beat free.

I have the 11(this one) and it works great. No issues with reservoir. I noticed sometimes it will turn itself on but that's extremely rare.
Love the heated air tube on this one too. And the new mask design (full face mask with nasal pillow I think it's called?) with the tube on the crown of your head instead of in front of your face is the breast

The interesting thing about the price...is that these were the normal prices, pre-Covid and prior to the HUGE Phillips Recall. Prices are just coming back to normal levels.

This particular retailer, as well as the other big online CPAP retailers...may come back down to normal price levels as the Philips recall works its way out. In addition, there are bunch of other CPAP's that have come on the market lately, including some Chinese copies (that somehow got FDA Approval - check those campaign contributions!) that are now being authorized by Medicare and other insurance companies.

Good info, just tagging along for tips. I've been on one for years and never read manuals. Might mention I've tried a few portable power stations with these in case of power outage. Sometimes a DC cigarette adapter is needed or direct 12V barrel plug to run a few nights, without the heater and humidifier on.

They will not send you a new machine, they will send you a refurbished machine. The one my brother received was in worse condition than the one he sent in, it just had the filter (which was the root of the problem) replaced.

My doc makes me haul the thing in every time either way so really the modem is redundant for me. 🥲🤣
