But to clarify, since, honestly, you could accuse me of the same, I'm open to being absolutely wrong about In-N-Out. I just couldn't find it.

I'm assuming the McD's $1 fries are an "offer" so you're stuck paying regular price for anything with it.
McDonald's has a hidden BOGO $1 deal. Buy a McDouble, McChicken or 4 piece at menu price and get one for $1. Since this isn't an offer you can still use an offer on the same order.

can you find a cheap fastfood chain nowaday? dont blame just on mcd.
Yes and it's called cook at home. When we want burgers and frys we do it at home now. Throw fry's in the air fryer and cook the burgers on the indoor grill. Easy and we like it better.

Mcdonalds you can get any size french fry free any day of the week, except Friday, on the app. But on Fridays they promote it and only give you a medium fry for free. Doesn't really make sense. You are almost penalized for eating at a mcdonalds on a friday with how their deals work

There is nothing to buy for $1 at MCD anymore. They are a ripoff
I just paid $5.32 for a single McMuffin. Not at an airport. Just my local McDonald's in the suburbs. Never again.

Depends. In-N-Out has a limited menu mostly burgers. Burgers are fresh and way cheaper. MCD is overpriced crap
in the land of no in n out, we only have MCD or bk as the cheap alternatives. all fastfood chains now are getting more expensive just because the cost of grocery and gas is going up. cant really blame on them though. again, as being lazy as we are, I am all ears for the cheaper fastfood where we don't have to cook and no stupid tipping culture.

The ones near me.

$5.50 for the double-double
$6.00 for the big mac
50 cents cheaper isn't that cheap. of course I would go to the cheaper one if its for some savings and better food. but I don't really call it a ripoff if its only 50 cents more expensive.

Check out Panera threads. Good meal deal with free half sandwich (comes with chips) or salad with $5 purchase and free 3-month Sip Club.

$7 Value Meal comes with a decent sized prefixed sandwich or salad & soup with baguette. Combined with above, it is decent food for more than one person.
well, that's with the limited promo. I was asking in general nowadays with any fastfood chain. the price should be regular vs regular across the chains. Panera isn't cheap if you look at their menu.

yes, if you search for Panera sip club topics, you can see my name there everywhere. was pretty active until they got rid of their bloody orange energy drinks. but I wont participate in those limited meals anymore.

that does not really answer my question. frys in air fryer is the worst way of cooking the frys. especially to reheat the leftover. airfrying isn't a good choice. I was asking a fastfood chain where people don't have to cook. duh.

I haven't gotten my good replies on those beef patty grilling methods. always ended up with messy blood everywhere if followed their direction, cooking straight from frozen patties.

Well you can't cook and you are too poor to tip.I suggest you upgrade your skill set to become a high earner instead of complaining about fast food choices...

Agree. Overall fast-food prices have gotten quite crazy. Sit down restaurants are now offering $10 Burger & Fries.

You need to be constantly on the lookout for coupons and deals these days even for fast food places. Agree Panera prices are quite high. But these discounts bring it to a more affordable level. I plan to make the best use of Panera where feasible. I don't go too often but once a week isn't so bad especially with these discounts and free Sip Club trial.
