Meanwhile Straight Talk website is same tracfone company i got (2) Free Moto G Power 5G 2024 cost $45+$30 second line Silver Plans they only charged $8 tax for the 2 service plans and no tax on the phones at $149 MSRP each
Looked back at my order when the phone was $50 with a $50 plan, tax was lower, and you were able to get it with a lower cost plan which halfway negates the savings of a "free" phone.
7/12 - Ordered them.
7/16 - Order was delivered.
7/19 - Ported in the 2 Google Voice numbers. This involved calling Total, was all done in 15 minutes.
7/23 - Porting completed on both phones. They are active on Total and the 60 day clock begins for carrier unlocking.
The phones themselves are surprisingly good. Definitely more of an upper mid-ranger than a budget phone.
