Warning: Do NOT apply using someone else's referral link with the promise that they will give you money to do so. They will have their accounts closed and points taken for churning and you will not get paid from them for what you did. Those people are scumbags and you will never get paid from them after months of waiting for them to do so. There are MANY people on this forum that will do just this and say sorry too bad. They will change their username over and over again to avoid being traced. Your account may now also be associated with them for wrongdoing by Chase. You have been warned.
One way is if you have other credit cards with them, have them "transfer" the credit line over to this credit card.
Chase has the 5/24 rule, meaning 5 applications in a rolling 24month period. So if you exceed that, you have to wait...

Cool thanks. Did you get a second one on the same account or did you need to open up a new account?

Yes, personal experience. Yes they provided their number and were a member for long enough. No they did not provide proof of previous payout. Bottom line is they were churning and burning cards while racking up referral points and promising those people they would be compensated a very substantial amount while they were doing this. Chase put an end to it and closed all their account and froze the points. They then renegged with bs excuses and changed usernames several times to hide. They knew darn well they were risking the referral points bonus of every single person who trusted them and faithfully clicked on their referral link, patiently waiting for their promised payout which never happened because of what they did.

I wasn't pointing you out specifically, just in general that novice and even experienced members seeking easy money dangling like a carrot be careful who they deal with.

On Facebook there is a group which I have used since years and they have genuine people who pay.

May be you sadly meet a wrong person.

Could a referral be sent from someone with a personal CSP to this business card?

I signed up with a referral of 100K last week. Secured message to match 120K and was denied. Was told because I signed up with a referral link.

Here's what I do.....
Chase gives 5% cash back on Staples purchases. Staples OFTEN have no activation fee when you purchase Visa Gift cards. I buy the maximum allowed, hubby buys maximum. We then use the gift cards to pay (AND prepay) power bill, phone bill, Spectrum, taxes, insurance, etc. The 5% cash back earned covers any cc fees. This allows us to quickly fulfill the $8000 requirement. We also use the gift cards for everyday purchases, just write the amount spent on the front of card so you always know how much you've spent. When you end up with a small amount on a gift card, just use it at the grocery store. Their system will charge whatever amount is left on the card.

Oh, and our adult children are perfectly happy to get Visa gift cards for gifts!
This is brilliant Smilie I was just concerned that those visa cards won't work at city tax websites or if they do, so lets say property tax bill is $1500 for the year, I'm not sure of a way I can split or add 10 x$100 visa cards into one transaction. Do you mind sharinng how you're able to pay big tax bills for the property?

If you're using ssn, then yes. But it won't count against 5/24

Exactly! I'm paying property tax bills and car insurance. HOA dues you can prepay for years in advance.
Technically, you're not supposed to do that because the card is a business card, not a personal card. Unless those expenses you listed are actually business expenses.

Chase does not check, or care, what you put on the card... the "business use only" disclaimer is there because business cards don't have the same consumer protections personal cards do.

I've never figured out how to apply without entering your SSN in all these chase ink apps, how are folks doing it? B/c it has a spot either its your SSN or ITIN no?
