Not really a good price for the size. You can get a 420mm for $99 at Amazon or cheaper from Arctic on eBay. 280mm is an odd one anyway and most cases who fit 280 can fit 360. I'm not even sure there is a case which can fit 280 but not 360. In that case I would suggest everybody who looks for a liquid cooler look no further than ThermalRight on Amazon where you get a 360mm Cooler for $55 bucks.

I've been thinking about a 280 for my Fractal Torrent. I currently have a 360 but I'm thinking a 280 would provide close to the same cooling, but leave the bottom portion free to send cool air to my graphics card.

Well I guess that depends on the CPU but I can tell you for a 14700 its a difference like night and day in cooling when using benchmarks who run the cpu 100%. I got 98 - 100 degrees celsius with the evga 280mm and 80 - 85 with the 360mm Thermalright both running the cpu up to 230W.

If you don't push the cpu though you should be fine with 280mm. Though the price for this one is a bit off. I got my eVGA for like 50 bucks. Of course for 12600kf i had in the system before the 280mm was more then enough never got the cpu hot at all the 14700 series is a bit different they demand alot of power if you want to get performance and run the cpu pretty hot. Honestly if I would have known that before hand I would have not gotten the CPU.

I have a 7950x3D so the tdp isn't crazy. I feel I've seen even a 240mm is plenty. But yeah if I was using Intel I would be getting a 420mm.
