Do not buy this monitor...I have the exact same one and it started flickering on and off after 4-5 months. Called support and they don't care about you. Put you on hold for 2 hours, tell you its your PC and not the monitor (would also try to blame the power cord, power socket, DP cable, HDMI cable - literally everything). Will lie to you and say they don't have the option to call the manager and eventually they do. So at the moment, I have a $700 monitor that I really don't have a warranty for. There's a reason they are discounting this a lot. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. It's sad, I have owned Alienware/Dell products for a while but after what I have just gone through - I will never buy another alienware/dell branded product. If someone from Dell can reach out to me I would be glad to file my formal complaint.

Edit: Yes, literally changed everything. Even reformatted PC. Used my laptop, still the same effect. Plugged in a different monitor, 0 issues (ironically a Dell monitor).

Not true anymore! Dell released a firmware tool for the DW (G-SYNC version) last December and works flawless ever since

AW3423DW currently $854. Is $154 more worth it with additional 10% from AA? There were 25 keys left when I created an account for the 10%

I have this monitor from a prior Best Buy deal. It's so stunning. My sister in law who works in media was astonished by the color accuracy and deep blacks. She decided to buy one after seeing ours. Can't recommend this enough.

(After about 9 months of use, no hint of burn in yet and it's used daily)

Did you use a properly rated cable? These high refresh rate high res monitors need properly rated cables.

Also make sure your refresh rate is properly set in Windows.

DWF is generally better. Quieter fan, easier to upgrade firmware, etcetera.

DW only if you really need gsync and are willing to live with some potential fan noise.

This has also not been my experience with Dell. I've purchased several of these monitors and one started turning itself off as well. Dell replaced it immediately
Came here to say this, I call BS on the warranty experience. I've had next day replacement on anything bought directly through them.

Dell is the only manufacturer I'd buy a monitor directly from aside from Apple. They have great customer service.

LG - not so much.

And we know about Asus already.

I wish it had G sync.
This monitor is g-sync compatible, it just doesn't have the dedicated g-sync hardware module

American companies tend to provide the best service.

Mine just came in today. Upgraded from an older 34 inch alienware ultra wide monitor that has g sync. I was hesitant to get it at first because I have a rtx 3080 but the increased refresh rate and the OLED panel is crazy good. I used the alienware 10% coupon. And 15% cash back rebate. Also I had a 105$ off Amex offer. If you're thinking about it you should go for it.

I have it and use it 8 hours a day for work, zero issues!!!! Seriously, one person experience doesn't make the product bad. I love this monitor both for work and some gaming… and why wouldn't you exchange the monitor if you having issues with it, I had tons of dell items exchanged without issues. Sorry, sounds like bs.

CB dropped to just 5%. Also 10% coupon sent by Dell is not applicable to this deal anymore. Frown the deal is now cold…
