Gardena is a quality Germany brand, this item is no different! I really miss their connectors and accessories, tempted to buy this and buy into the system as I'm tired replacing my gilmour and other connectors every year.

I have had this on watch for a while, and looks to be the lowest price it has been for the 100 ft. This YouTube comparison video really helped narrow it down, + some additional sleuthing of amazon reviews. We were going to go with the Glahoden but the reviews seemed to indicate that there were some longevity issues.

Fittings non standard. Only compatible with other Gardena products. Too bad, I need one that I can connect to my pressure washer.

I'm not an expert, but 1/2" hose 100' long might not provide enough water pressure for a pressure washer anyway, depending on pressure washer and pressure from your faucet.

Are these any good? Only a 12mo warranty vs up to 5yr on some brands makes me hesitant. Have you actually bought and used this thing?

The description says all the right things though... I particularly like that it uses brass fittings and comes in a 5/8in option. The Gardena uses plastic fittings even on the leader hose to the spigot.

Your pressure could be diddly squat and your pressure washer would still work. It takes the water and pressurizes it for output.

Well, my electric pressure washer stops when it doesn't have enough volume to pressurize to. So, the experience is less than ideal when it stops every 2 seconds...Changing to a shorter and larger hose fixed it.

Watched the same video and ordered the Glahoden. Didn't last 2 days and it started leaking internally and won't reel the hose the last 10 feet.

I have this Gardena hose reel. It works great and would buy one again if I needed another. I upgraded the quick connects to the metal ones from Gardena and have no leaks or issues with it. This is a great price for the 100 footer.

Have a similar one for the past 3 years. Same brand and design but shorter length. The plastic has held up surprisingly well including the nozzle. All the other metal nozzles I had would fall apart after the winter. This has been very solid. Only wished the connecting hose to faucet was longer.
