Tempted to get one but fear it's one of the things that's getting used twice a year. We already have way too many of those kitchen tools.

Is anyone using their spiralizer attachment frequently and can tell me for what exactly?

I use mine quiet often to make zucchini noodles. I find it worth it for that alone over the years, better than the crappy plastic alternatives.

With that, in for one as a gift!

Bought this 8 years ago off Amazon for $70, just ordered another for backup/or gift. Probably the attachment I use the most on my KitchenAid. It definitely saves my hands from doing a lot of work in the kitchen as I have gotten older. Spiralizes veggies so quickly!

Use ours for homemade curly fries. Wash the potato and let it go. Kids love watching it and eating them. Have made sweet potato fries, zucchini noodles, apple desserts… It is easy to clean and use. Definitely recommend if you have a kitchen aid.

Great for zucchini noodles. My kids love making it with the recipe in the ATK kids cookbook. Tastes great and refreshing in the summer months!

From many decades ago, since Hobart ownership, when the heads in the mixers had brass and steel gears. It's been the standard PTO design for their small mixers, AFAIK, since the beginning.

We use once a year but for a lot of work - coring and peeling a couple bushels of apples. Totally worth it.
